Mr. Alam's career has included leadership positions with companies in financial services (Metavante), consumer packaged goods (Miller Brewing), and consulting services (Accenture, SoftGear, and Alam & Company). As an employee as well as a consultant, he has always succeeded in creating high-performing teams that deliver quantifiable improvements to corporate value in the shortest time frame.
Some of Mr. Alam's accomplishments as an employee include leading a successful IT effort to improve Miller Brewing's sales trends and profitability, and implementing an enterprise-wide project time reporting system, as well as participating in the implementation of one of the first Client/Server banking systems at Metavante.
As a consultant, he has lead successful IT projects for US Bank, Manpower, University of Wisconsin, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Logistics, and Fiserv Health/United Healthcare among others
